A Murray Christmas to All!
The Augusta Levy Learning Center asked for my help to make a video christmas card for their staff and students. Enjoy!
The staff and students of the Augusta Levy Learning Center would like to wish everyone a Happy and Joyous Holiday Season.
Recently the students were visited by Frosty the Snowman during one of their craft projects. A big thanks to Bob Gaudio for the audio!
7 Springs Pond Jump Flashback
Back before lawsuits put the “KIBOSH” on danger. When the new High speed lift was installed the pond was downsized and is no longer a safe landing. The fish seem happier about it.
This event began off season at Pennsylvania’s Seven Springs Resort in 1986 and continued until 2002. Today’s resort environment no longer allows private events that are this extreme. Pond Skims are very popular (and safer). Enjoy this look back on one big backwoods party.
Horse Show Video
This is a pilot video for a horse themed TV Show. At the time we owned and operated the Stone Church Tack Shop and had taken our mobile shop to this particular show.
Broadcast Experience
I have been looking into getting an Outer Banks News Bureau established.
My work includes on-camera talent and reporting. Here are some half hour Broadcast editions of Eastern Extreme that I shot, edited, anchored, and reported. It’s tough doing it all…
This Edition shot on location at the Moto-Topia Cross Country Motorcycle Course includes; The Kristi Leskinen Invitational Ski and Snowboard Competition, Opening Day at Moto-Topia, Kiteboarding from Marshallmovies.net, a Ring Girl Competion, Rope Trekking and a Night Club Tour!
An action packed edition of Action Sports from 7 Springs PA, Snowshoe WV, Oglebay WV, Wheeling WV, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Surfing, Skateboarding, Snowboarding and More!
Check out all the action from Wheeling WV’s home for live indie music. Fox Japan and Open Air Museum make a great sound track for all the skateboard, ski and snowboard action you can handle.
Shot on location in Morgantown WV. Highlights include the Grand National Cross Country Motorcycle Race held at Powerline Park, Battle of the Banks Surfing, a Wheeling Skatepark Report, the Motown Throwdown Rail Jam, and Kiteboarding from Marshall Movies.
It is action packed and includes all fresh footage.
I spent the day in the “Xtreme” Zone at this popular Motorcycle Dealership. Their customer appreciation event featured a skateboarding demo, a motorcycle stunt show, and a live performance by Open Air Museum.
This show includes segments for a Pro Wakeboard Event, a local Skateboarding Competition, a Rope Trekking Adventure, and a behind the scenes look at Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte NC.
This is the TV Debut of Eastern Extreme. The program was shot during a recent Competition at the Skate Park in Wheeling WV.
Segments include a Street Bike Stunt show, Outer Banks Surfing, Ohio River Wakeboard Sessions, Legends Racing, a Miss Hawaiian Tropic Swimsuit Competition, and Musical Guest Open Air Museum.
Surfdog Media is proud to present Eastern Extreme! This half hour video magazine showcases local talent going EXTREME. Reports covering the East Coast Scene will get you amped.
Outer Banks Video Library
Here is a behind the scenes look at a project I did for MTV:
My roots run deep with the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Over the years I have produced a wide variety of TV Programs and Segments all about the Outer Banks. If you like the Outer Banks you will like these videos:
This segment aired in an episode of Surfer Video Magazine on ESPN. I shot most of the footage and all of the interviews. Frontline Video and Film produced the series from 1987 to 1991.
This segment was produced for Hatteras Surf Feast and was a compilation of news and surf reports that aired on Beach TV during the late 80s. It has always been my goal to include news style information in all of my surfing segments. This makes for an educational and enjoyable piece.
Hurricane Earl paid a visit to Avalon Pier on Friday September 3rd, 2010. Some of his closest friends came out to see him.
There were over 100 spectators cheering on the brave crew of surfers riding this epic hurricane swell.
Classic Beach TV Footage featuring many of our favorite locals. Its cool to go back inside the Carolinian and the Atlantis.
Look for OBX Old School DVDs coming soon at a store near you.

North Carolina’s Outer Banks got great surf the week before Memorial Day. The local crew and some visiting pro’s “manhandle” a large 3 day swell. The surf was heavy and the wind stayed offshore for great conditions.
Check out the roots of Outer Banks Surfing with this look back to the surf scene its early days. Portions of this segment aired on ESPN’s “Hot Summer Nights” Programming in the 80′s.
This is a compilation of sessions and random encounters with some of my surfing friends. The footage spans from about 2001 to 2006.
North Carolina’s Outer Banks has legendary wind. These Kiteboarders are riding the same air that helped the Wright Brothers invent modern aviation. This area called Buxton Hole or Canadian Hole has an Eastern and Southern Shoreline.
The Flat Duo Jets played at Frat Parties when I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the 80s. They visited the famous Mex-Econo Bar of Kill Devil Hills, NC in 1988.
The footage comes from BEACH TV(1987-1991) and Hatteras Surf Feast(1991).
Mex-Econo served hot dog chimichangos, spam nachos, and Ice Cold Cervaso.

Surf Photography
Today was the first day that I got to use my waterproof video camera. My great height of 6’6″ enabled me to stand on the sandbar and get really close to the action. It was nice to stay cool on a hot day and get some good action footage. (see below)
